Meet A Machine

The parking lot of the WFCU Centre will be abuzz with the sights and sounds of mighty machines of all sizes.  It’s the annual Meet-A-Machine FREE Community Literacy event hosted by the City of Windsor- Children’s Services, Ontario Early Years program. 
The year’s event is being held on Saturday, June 18th from 10 am to 2 pm.  Children will have a chance to reach out and touch more than 50 vehicles including construction equipment, military trucks, buses, forestry trucks, race cars, emergency vehicles and tow trucks.  
This FREE event was designed to promote literacy in a fun and interactive way with children going home with a free book!

DrumFIT Day Action

Thanks to last year's CSAC, Stella Maris received a Parents Reaching Out Grant of $550 dollars to bring DrumFIT to our school.  This year's CSAC contributed towards this worthwhile activity with money raised throughout the year.  

What is DrumFit?  It is a fitness based drumming program that combines the mental health benefits of drumming with the overall health benefits of physical fitness.
