Slater Doggett of the Windsor Spitfires took time out of his busy schedule to speak to Stella Maris students and enjoy a couple of slices of pizza with a few lucky fans too! Slater told students that perseverance, team work and a positive attitude helped him get to where he is right now in his hockey career. When asked what he thought was the hardest thing about playing for the Windsor Spitfires, he answered, "being so far away from my family and friends". After answering questions from each classroom, Slater took time to sign a few autographs and take a few photos. Before leaving for practice, he enjoyed some pizza with young Spitfire fans.
Thank you Windsor Spitfires for adopting Stella Maris School and for taking the time to visit!

Grade 8 students have fun putting together bags of reindeer food to sell during our Stella Maris Open House on December 16. Santa isn't the only one who deserves a snack on Christmas Eve. Rudolph and the gang will enjoy this nutritious snack while our grade 8's would be very grateful for your support!
